DeNova and New Leaf: Almost A Year!

In May of 2023, DeNova took over New Leaf Recovery and Wellness, an established mental health counseling agency in Winchester. DeNova has been in the behavioral health space in Lexington for over five years and in Madison County for almost three years now. New Leaf has been providing mental health counseling and addiction therapy for many years in Clark County. In addition to counseling, New Leaf has been working with the Clark courts providing assessments for parenting, DUI, substance abuse, and ADHD, among others. And, New Leaf provides the community with a critical service of drug screening, either by urine or hair follicle, which DeNova will continue. 

 

DeNova owner, Kelly Eversole, says she was interested in "the potential to help citizens of Clark and surrounding counties with mental health issues and New Leaf gave DeNova the best opportunity to immediately impact the community." "It was a natural fit for DeNova," says Kelly.

 

DeNova brings additional services to the previous New Leaf offerings including MAT or MOUD for addiction, psychiatric services for medication management, and targeted case manager work for those with greater needs. Because New Leaf had such a good reputation in the community, DeNova has kept the name, going by DeNova-New Leaf. This helps with any confusion occurring with a name change and establishes the DeNova name by attaching it to a reputable, existing mental health agency.
